CONTEXT #
This guide describes how to find and use the “Settings” page in the EG Ajour app. The page gathers a number of general settings for the app, regardless of which module (e.g. Inspect & QA) you are working in.
RELEVANCE #
You need this guide if you want to adapt the behavior of the app to your own needs – e.g. adjust photo quality, change the language, turn Dark Mode on or off, export/import data, create a new project or contact support.
PREREQUISITES AND REQUIREMENTS #
- You must have the EG Ajour app installed and be logged in
- You must have selected a system in the app
GUIDE (step by step) #
Step 1: Tap the menu icon (the three horizontal lines) at the top right of the app to open the menu.
Step 2: In the menu that opens, tap Settings.
The “Settings” page is then displayed with the following functions:
- Photos – opens a page with settings for photo quality: “Downscale photos” (reduces the file size of images), “Save to gallery” (also saves images in the device’s own photo library) and “Enhanced camera” (makes it possible to edit an image before it is saved, or to take several images in a row without opening the camera again)
- Ajour Support – lets you call Ajour Support directly by tapping Dial Ajour Support? and confirming the call
- Advanced – contains Export data, which is used to export data from the app to the EG Ajour support and development team.
- Create project – here you can create a new project by entering a project name and tapping Create. Note that this function requires that your user has the system permission “Create projects”.
- Language – here you can select the app’s language from the following list: English, Dansk, Deutsch, Svenska, Українська, Polski, Icelandic, Norsk, Magyar and . The currently selected language is marked with a checkmark.
- Device Mode – here you can control Dark Mode and choose between “On”, “Off” or “System” (where the appearance of the app follows the device’s own system settings)
- Error handling – contains a setting to disable confirmation dialogs in the app
Note: Exporting data can take some time to complete, depending on the amount of data and the network connection. Creating a new project automatically starts a synchronization when you tap Create – this is a prerequisite for the project to be ready for use, and not a step you have to perform yourself.
