CONTEXT #
This guide describes the selectable statuses on a registration in EG Ajour, the Inspect & QA module, and what each status means. The guide applies to the note types under AjourInspect (Supervisory, Project, Defect and Preregistration), where a registration can go through several statuses set by either the Receiver or the Responsible/Sender.
- See also: The user guide on status on registrations (app) and the user guide on status on registrations (web) describe how to change the status in practice. This guide focuses on what the individual statuses mean and who sets them.
RELEVANCE #
You need this guide when you have to understand what a particular status on a registration means, who has set it, and what action is expected next. It is particularly relevant when you need to determine whether you are the Receiver or the Responsible/Sender on a registration, and thus which statuses you can set yourself.
PREREQUISITES AND REQUIREMENTS #
- You must know the difference between the roles Receiver and Responsible/Sender on a registration
- You must know how to change the status of a registration in the app or on the web
Note: This guide applies to the status flow for the note types under AjourInspect (Supervisory, Project, Defect, Preregistration). For the note type QA/KS there are only the statuses “Created” and the closing status
GUIDE (step by step) #
| Status (colour) | Set by | Note type | Meaning | Remark |
| Created (Yellow) | – | Supervisory, Project, Defect, Preregistration, QA/KS | Covers all registrations that have been created but not yet handled | |
| Done (Blue) | Receiver | Supervisory, Project, Defect, Preregistration | Indicates that the issue described in the registration has been remedied (e.g. by the contractor) | Add one or more photos as documentation under Comments, so that the Responsible/Sender can confirm the remedy |
| Rejected (Pink) | Receiver | Supervisory, Project, Defect, Preregistration | Given if the receiver cannot accept or does not wish to remedy the issue in the registration | Add a comment explaining why you cannot accept, so that the Responsible/Sender knows the reason |
| Not approved (Red) | Responsible/Sender | Supervisory, Project, Defect, Preregistration | Given when the Responsible/Sender cannot approve a remedy (Done) or a rejection (Rejected) from the receiver | Add a comment explaining why you cannot approve, so that the receiver knows the reason |
| Approved (Green) | Responsible/Sender | Supervisory, Project, Defect, Preregistration, QA/KS | Given when the receiver’s remedy can be approved by the Responsible/Sender | Approved registrations cannot be edited. The status must be revoked before the registration can be edited again |
NEXT STEPS #
- See the user guide on status on registrations (app or web) for how to change the status in practice
- Check the permissions for status if you experience that a status button is inactive or missing
- See how status for forwarded registrations works if a registration has been forwarded to another receiver
