# Registration statuses in EG Ajour Inspect & QA – what do they mean?

CONTEXT

This guide describes the selectable statuses on a registration in EG Ajour, the Inspect & QA module, and what each status means. The guide applies to the note types under AjourInspect (Supervisory, Project, Defect and Preregistration), where a registration can go through several statuses set by either the Receiver or the Responsible/Sender.

See also: The user guide on status on registrations (app) and the user guide on status on registrations (web) describe how to change the status in practice. This guide focuses on what the individual statuses mean and who sets them.

RELEVANCE

You need this guide when you have to understand what a particular status on a registration means, who has set it, and what action is expected next. It is particularly relevant when you need to determine whether you are the Receiver or the Responsible/Sender on a registration, and thus which statuses you can set yourself.

PREREQUISITES AND REQUIREMENTS

You must know the difference between the roles Receiver and Responsible/Sender on a registration

You must know how to change the status of a registration in the app or on the web

Note: This guide applies to the status flow for the note types under AjourInspect (Supervisory, Project, Defect, Preregistration). For the note type QA/KS there are only the statuses "Created" and the closing status

NEXT STEPS

See the user guide on status on registrations (app or web) for how to change the status in practice

Check the permissions for status if you experience that a status button is inactive or missing

See how status for forwarded registrations works if a registration has been forwarded to another receiver
