CONTEXT #
This guide describes how to search for a file in the AjourBox app. The guide is based on the app view.
RELEVANCE #
You need this guide when you need to quickly find a specific file in a project or a folder with many files, without having to scroll through the entire list.
PREREQUISITES AND REQUIREMENTS #
- You must have access to the AjourBox app
- You must have permissions to view the folder that contains the file
- You must have navigated to the project or folder you want to search in
GUIDE (step by step) #
Step 1: Tap Search at the bottom of the screen.
Step 2: A search field with a keyboard appears.
Step 3: Enter all or part of the file name you are looking for.
Step 4: Tap the arrow (send icon) in the search field to run the search.
Tip: The search is only run when you tap the arrow. The results are thus not updated automatically while you type.
Step 5: The file list is updated and now shows only the files that match your search.
NEXT STEPS #
- Download one of the files found to your device
- Tap Search again to perform a new search
- Navigate to another folder to search there
