# Sort files (App)

CONTEXT



This guide describes how to sort files in a folder in the AjourBox app. The guide is based on the app view.



RELEVANCE



You need this guide when a folder contains many files and you want to make the list easier to read, e.g. by sorting the files by name, size or date.



PREREQUISITES AND REQUIREMENTS




You must have access to the AjourBox app



You must have permissions to view the folder that contains files



You must have navigated to a folder that contains files




GUIDE (step by step)



Step 1: Navigate to the folder with the files you want to sort.



Step 2: Tap Sort at the bottom of the screen. A bottom menu with Sorting Options appears.



Step 3: Select a sorting criterion: Alphabetical, Size or Date.



Step 4: Select a sorting direction: Ascending or Descending.



Note: The file list is updated automatically in the background every time you select a new criterion or a new direction, so you can see the result immediately.



Step 5: Close the menu by tapping X when you have found the sorting you want.
