# Reset Password 

Context&nbsp;


The login page in Ajour contains a link "Forgotten password?", which opens a dialog where you can order a new password for your user. An automatic email with a link to create a new password is then sent.&nbsp;


Relevance&nbsp;


This guide is relevant if you cannot remember your password and therefore cannot log in to your Ajour system.&nbsp;


Prerequisites and requirements&nbsp;


You must know the email (your username) your user was created with. 


You must have access to this email account, as the reset link is sent there. 


Guide&nbsp;


Click "Forgotten password?" on the login page.&nbsp;


Enter the email (username) your user was created with in the "E-mail" field, and click "Order".&nbsp;


Open the email you just ordered in your inbox. The email contains a message that your password is being reset, as well as a link to complete the reset.&nbsp;


Important: Remember also to update your saved password in the EG Ajour app if you also use Ajour via the app.&nbsp;


Click the link "Click here to reset your password" in the email.&nbsp;


Enter your new password in the "New password" field, and confirm it in the "Confirm new password" field. Then click "New password" to complete the reset.&nbsp;


Important: The new password must be at least 8 characters.&nbsp;


Next steps&nbsp;


Log in to your Ajour system with your email and the new password. 


If relevant, update saved passwords in the browser or in the app so they match the new password. 


Contact your system administrator if you do not receive the reset email within a short time.
