# Overview of elements in a registration

CONTEXT

This guide describes which elements and details are shown on a registration in the registration overview in the web version of Inspect & QA, and how groups (tabs) are used to organise registrations for a registration type.

RELEVANCE

You need this guide when you need to understand what the various icons, fields and markings on a registration mean - e.g. what "Deadline" or the checklist symbol covers - or when you need to navigate between groups to get an overview of registrations within a specific category.

PREREQUISITES AND REQUIREMENTS

You must have access to the project in question in Ajour

You must be logged in to the web version of Inspect & QA

GUIDE (step by step)

Groups

Groups are used to group registrations for each note type. The numbers in the top right corner of each tab show how many registrations the group contains.

Step 1: Click a group (tab) to see the registrations for that group.

Step 2: Click the tab All groups to see all registrations for the selected registration type.

Elements in a registration

Once a registration has been created, it will - depending on how thoroughly it has been completed - contain the following elements:

Registration number: A sequential ID number for the registration. The number is unique per note type and is discontinued if the registration is hidden.

Image/Photos: Shows the number of images attached to the registration. Hold the mouse over the image to see a tooltip with the number, or click the image to open it.

Registration drawing/GPS: Click the drawing name to see where the registration was made. On the drawing, yellow markings with the registration's ID number are shown, depending on how many markings have been placed.

Deadline (only in AjourInspect): Indicates when the registration must be answered at the latest.

Category/List: Make up the categories or checklists to be reviewed during inspection. The order is Group, Category and checklist. A symbol with three horizontal lines next to the category means the category is a checklist - click the symbol to see the checklist.

Description: The subject field can be expanded with a description of the registration.

Comments: Shown at the bottom of the description field as a "speech bubble". The icon shows the number of comments - click it to view or reply to comments.

Receiver and Responsible (only in the Inspect part of Inspect & QA): The person who creates the registration is by default both responsible and receiver, unless the responsible person has added another receiver. The "Receiver" field is only shown for registration types under AjourInspect - not for AjourQA.

Note: The receiver is responsible for answering the registration and can either complete it by clicking Done, or reject it by clicking Rejected. The responsible person can subsequently complete or return the registration by clicking Completed or Not approved.

NEXT STEPS

Search and filter registrations across columns, category and receiver/responsible

Change the status of a registration
