# Log in to an Ajour system (Web)

Context

The login page is the entry point to the web-based Ajour system. The page contains fields for email and password, a button to log on, and links to register a new user, recover a forgotten password and view public tenders without logging in.

Relevance

This guide is relevant the first time you need to log in to an Ajour system, or if you need to regain access after a forgotten password.

Prerequisites and requirements

You must know the system name of the company whose Ajour system you need to access.

You must have received a welcome email with your email and password.

Guide

Go to the system's home page by entering the system name in the browser's address bar, e.g. https:// [companyname].ajoursystem.net.

Important:

Each company has its own system name. Make sure you know the correct name before you try to log in.

Tip: You can reuse the same email to log in to several systems, as long as you are created as a user in the system in question.

Enter your email and your password. Your email is found in the welcome email, while the password is the one you created yourself via the link in the welcome email when your account was created.

Click "Log on" to log in. You are taken on to the system and can select the module or modules you have access to.

Click "Forgotten password?" if you cannot remember your password, and follow the instructions to reset it via email.

Click "Register" if you do not have a user account, or "See all public tenders" if you want to view tenders without logging in.

Tip: Change the display language, access help or settings via the icons at the top of the login panel.

If you try to log on with incorrect details, an error message is shown at the top of the page with the text "The username or password used is incorrect." This error can be caused by one or more of the following reasons:

The username is incorrect

The password is incorrect

The user has been made inactive

The user does not exist

Note: The error message does not distinguish between these reasons, so you should check both username and password before you contact support or your administrator to clarify whether the account is active.

Next steps

Explore the modules you have access to after you have logged in.

Contact your system administrator if you are missing access to a module.
