# Filtering registrations

CONTEXT

This guide describes how to filter a list of registrations in the EG Ajour app. The function is available in the EG Ajour app - Inspect & QA module, where you can use a filter icon to open a menu with various filter criteria and then narrow the list down to show only the registrations that match your choices.

RELEVANCE

This guide is relevant when you are working with a list that contains many registrations and want to quickly find those that meet specific criteria - e.g. a particular status, type or other category. Filtering saves time and makes it easier to get an overview of relevant data without having to scroll through the entire list.

PREREQUISITES AND REQUIREMENTS

Access to the app with a valid login

Necessary user permissions for the project

At least one registration must be created in the system for the filtering to give results

Knowledge of which criteria you want to filter by (e.g. status or type)

You must have selected a registration type in the dark blue bar at the top of the screen before you can filter. You can choose between: Supervisory, Project, Defect, Preregistration or QA (depends on subscription)

You must have synchronized the project 100% successfully

FILTER OPTIONS The filter menu is divided into fixed categories. Here is an overview of what you can filter by:

Status: Lets you show registrations with one or more specific statuses (e.g. "Created", "Completed", "Done", "Not approved", "Rejected"). You can select all, none or a combination of statuses.

Forwarded: An on/off function that limits the list to show only registrations that have been forwarded to others.

Category group (Group): Lets you filter by which group or category a registration belongs to.

Recipient - Company: Lets you filter by which company is the recipient of the registration.

Recipient - User: Lets you filter by which user is the recipient of the registration.

Recipient - Date: An on/off function that lets you specify a date range for when the registration was received.

Sender - Company: Lets you filter by which company created or sent the registration.

Sender - User: Lets you filter by which user created or sent the registration.

Sender - Date: An on/off function that lets you specify a date range for when the registration was sent.

Deadline (Limit end date): An on/off function that lets you set an upper limit for the deadline on the registrations.

Please note: The filter menu lets you choose among fixed, predefined categories and options - there is no free text field inside the filter menu itself. If you instead want to find a

single registration by its serial number, use the "# Go to" function, which is located outside the filter menu.

GUIDE (step by step)

Step 1 Select a project

Step 2 Select the Inspect & QA module

Step 3 Select the desired registration type (Supervisory, Project, Defect, Preregistration or QA) in the dark blue bar at the top of the screen. The list of registrations is updated to match the selected registration type.

Step 4 Open the overview of registrations if you are not already there. You now see a list of all available registrations for the selected registration type.

Step 5 Tap the filter icon (funnel symbol), which is located at the bottom of the screen.

Step 6 A filter menu slides up from the bottom of the screen and shows the list of filter categories described above (Status, Forwarded, Category group, Recipient, Sender, Deadline).

Step 7 Tap the field you want to filter by to open the related options.

Step 8 Select the desired values by ticking them, or activate an on/off function where relevant. You can select one or more values per field, except for category group.

Step 9 Tap the Save button

Step 10 Add more to the filter if needed

Step 11 Tap Save when you are satisfied with the filter

Step 12 The list is updated and now shows only the registrations that match your selected criteria.

Step 13 If you want to remove a single filter, tap the cross on the relevant filter tag at the top of the screen. If you want to remove all filters at once, use the "Clear filter" function and tap Save so that the full list is shown again.

NEXT STEPS

Open a single registration from the filtered list to see more details

Use the "# Go to" function if you know the serial number of a specific registration and want to find it directly
