# Explanation of license types

License types in EG Ajour



All users are assigned various system and/or project permissions that define what they are allowed and able to do in EG Ajour, but a license type is what determines whether the user can create registrations or not.



Users with a C license




Users can be created freely for a C license



Cannot create registrations in AjourInspect+QA




Users with a B license




Can create registrations in AjourQA, but not in AjourInspect (registration type: QA/KS)



A B license can only be used by one user at a time, but can be moved between users by a system or project administrator.




Users with an A license




Can create all types of registrations in AjourInspect+QA (registration types: Supervisory, Project, Defect, Preregistration and QA/KS)



An A license can only be used by one user at a time, but can be moved between users by a system or project administrator.




Please note: AjourBox, AjourFM and AjourTender are three separate modules that require a separate add-on purchase in the subscription package. Access to these modules is therefore not related to whether a user has an A, B or C license - that restriction applies only to creating registrations in AjourInspect & QA.
