# Edit registration photo (app)

CONTEXT



This guide describes how to edit a photo already attached to a registration in the app for the EG Ajour Inspect & QA module.



RELEVANCE



If you have already attached an image to a registration but need to add markings, text or other adjustments afterwards, e.g. to clarify a defect or elaborate on an observation, you can open the image again and edit it directly in the app without having to take a new photo.



PREREQUISITES AND REQUIREMENTS




You must have access to the EG Ajour app and be logged in



The registration must already have at least one attached photo




GUIDE (step by step)



Step 1: Open the registration where the photo you want to edit is attached.



Step 2: Tap the thumbnail below the description field to open it in full-screen view.



Step 3: Tap "Edit" at the bottom of the view to open the editing tools.



Step 4: Use the tools at the top to:




undo changes with the circular arrow



draw freehand with the pen icon,



insert shapes such as Line, Arrow, Double arrow, Rectangle or Oval



crop the photo with the frame icon



add text with the T icon




Step 5: Select a color in the color palette at the bottom if you are drawing or inserting shapes, and adjust the line thickness if needed with the slider on the left edge.



Step 6: Tap "Save" to save your changes.



Step 7: Check that the edited image is now shown as a thumbnail on the registration.



Please note: Tap "Cancel" instead of "Save" if you want to leave the editing without saving the changes.

Delete a photo you no longer need by tapping "Delete" in full-screen view



Change the status of the registration when the documentation is done
