# Allowed file types (current list) 

CONTEXT&nbsp;


This guide describes which file types you can upload in EG Ajour. The restriction applies across the modules, and you encounter it when you try to upload a file or a document to the system.&nbsp;


RELEVANCE&nbsp;


You need this overview when you are going to upload files and are unsure whether the file type is supported. This applies, for example, when uploading drawings, documents, images, CAD/BIM files or other attachments. If you know the allowed file types in advance, you avoid error messages and delays in your work.&nbsp;


PREREQUISITES AND REQUIREMENTS&nbsp;


You must have access to the relevant module where you want to upload a file 


The file must have one of the file types (file extensions) listed below 


Note: Even if a file type is on the list, a maximum file size or other technical restrictions may still apply in the individual module
