# Add comment to a registration (App)

CONTEXT



This guide describes how to add a comment to an existing registration in the EG Ajour app in the Inspect & QA module. The guide is based on the app, where your registrations are shown in a list, and each registration can be linked to a comment via a comment icon.

You may need to add a comment to a registration if you want to supplement it with additional information - for example:




An explanation of a deviation



A note to your partners



Context that is relevant if the registration is later to be reviewed or approved by others.



Documentation of completed work




PREREQUISITES AND REQUIREMENTS




You must have access to the EG Ajour app on your mobile device



You must be logged in with your user



You must be in the Inspect & QA module



You must have project permissions for the project



You must have selected the correct project



There must be at least one registration that you have project permissions to View




GUIDE (step by step)



Step 1: Find and tap the registration you want to add a comment to



Step 2: Tap the registration's information box to open the detail view



Step 3: In the detail view, tap the comment icon (speech bubble icon), located at the bottom left.



Step 4: A comment field opens, and the keyboard appears automatically. Tap the field and enter your comment.



Step 5: When the comment is written, you can choose the following actions: Send comment (Right arrow), Upload from the device's gallery (Gallery), Take and upload a photo from the camera function (Camera), or upload a file from the device's storage (Document).



Please note: Once the comment has been sent, it can no longer be undone. It is not possible to delete a comment.



Step 6: A brief confirmation appears on the screen, showing that the comment has been saved.

Suggestion: If you made a typing mistake, create a new comment with a reference to the previous comment, where you correct or clarify yourself.



Step 7: Tap "Left arrow" to return to the registration.
