User permissions in Ajour System

Finding User Permissions

1. Enter the administration module.

2. Click on the user whose permissions you want to see.

3. Click on “Permissions” to open the user permission panel.

Types of permission selector boxes:

4. The permission and all underlying permissions are selected.

5. The permission is not selected but some underlying permissions are selected.

6. The permission is not selected.

Tip:

7. Mouse over a permission to get an explanation of the specific permission.

Roles

8. A user role is a predefined set of permissions that is assigned to each user. In Table 1, each role is described in detail.

9. In order to assign a role to a user, simply choose the appropriate role from the drop-down list and click on “Save”.

– Generally manages the Ajour platform.
– Orders an A- or a B-license.

– Manages projects in Ajour.

– Uses Ajour for projects on working days.
– Has access to all project-specific areas of AjourBox, but can not create folders or delete other companies’ files.
– Has access to the entire AjourFM, but can not delete other people’s BE cards.
– Has access to the entire AjourIspect/QA, but can not edit or delete other companies’ registrations.
– Sets up categories for the project in Inspect/QA.

– Keeps files in AjourBox updated with new versions, but can not publish files or delete other companies’ files.
– Has access to the entire AjourFM, but can not delete other people’s BD cards.

– Can see the registrations they themselves or their colleagues made, or which they themselves are the recipient of.
– Comments on and sets status on own or assigned registrations in AjourInspect and AjourQA.

10. Allows you to clone the set of permissions of another existing user. Find the user whose permissions you want to clone in the list and click on “Save”.

11. Applies the standard set of permissions for the chosen role.

Tip: If you have changed the set of permissions for a role and want to reset it to the predefined standard, click on “Select role standard”.
